About the author

Mike Jakeman by Amy Webster

Mike Jakeman has loved cricket since he was a boy. When he first went to a Test match, Alec Stewart scored a hundred in his hundredth Test. He bowls like Paul Collingwood and bats like Chris Martin.

He is a writer and editor on Asian economics and politics at the Economist Intelligence Unit. He writes about cricket for The Economist and reviews new fiction for The Oxonian Review. He has an English degree from Oxford University. Saving the Test would be his first book.
